Choose nutrient dense whole foods over processed foods. Our barbaric forefathers selectively prized high quality, nutrient dense animal foods to build strength, power, and earth conquering dominance.

Incorporate organ meats. (If you can't get the organs, we have you covered!) Lions, sharks, alpha organisms eat them first. So should you!

Aim for consuming 1g of protein per pound of ideal body weight per day. This is especially for The Fittest. Those who are accepting the challenges of life head on, crushing adversity, and rising to the call of our barbaric ancestors, need more protein.

Don’t skimp on the fat. A diet rich in fat and low in carbohydrates has been proven to optimize hormone production, reduce blood sugar issues, improve sleep, improve immune function, aid in anti-aging with improved cellular regeneration, reduce blood pressure, and stabilize neurological functioning in the brain. Plus fat is delicious! The most ideal fats are sourced from animals. Yet more support for why we take a nose-to-tail approach to nutrition and nourishment.

Protein is what muscles are made of. Seek nose to tail animal protein first in this order: organs, red meat, eggs, fish, poultry.

As a hard charger, you need more carbs than the average person pursuing an ancestral lifestyle. Carbs support growth, tissue repair, and fast action energy. Seek clean fast burning carbs (fruit, honey, potatoes) for recovery and slow burning carbs for sustained energy. Consume enough carbs to support exercise, but only if you’ve earned them. Too few and you won’t recover properly, too many and you set yourself up for inflammation and unnecessary weight gain. This will take some tweaking, and your needs will vary depending on your activity levels.
